Anas Quest Academy started with one 9-year-old. My son Anas would rather play games than study — like most boys his age. Telling him to sit still with a workbook was a losing battle, and we both knew it.

So instead of fighting the games, I borrowed from them. I turned his pop quizzes into a game — space-themed missions he could blast through while we waited for food or sat in the car — and I built it right inside Telegram. No app to download, no store to visit, no account to make: you open the chat and it’s just there, the same place he already messages his friends.

He started asking to do them. That’s the whole idea: learning that feels like play, and rewards that feel real. What began as one dad’s trick for one kid is now a library that spans preschool early-readers through the whole Malaysian primary curriculum — for any family who’s fought the same battle.
