Privacy Policy

Anas Quest Academy is a small family learning app: a parent sets quizzes (“quests”), their children play them, and the children earn stars, XP and rewards. This policy explains exactly what we store, why, and what we never do. It is written to be read, not to protect us — if anything here is unclear, ask.

What we store about a parent

Your Telegram account id, username and profile photo URL — this is how you sign in and how the bot messages you. We never see your Telegram password.
Your name, as Telegram provides it.
If you registered before Telegram sign-in existed: an email address and a password stored only as a one-way scrypt hash (we cannot read it).

What we store about a child

Deliberately, almost nothing. A child is not a user account and does not need a Telegram account. For each child we hold only:

A first name and an emoji they chose.
A 4-digit PIN, stored only as a one-way hash.
Their school year, and the points and quiz results they earn by playing.

No surname, no email, no date of birth, no photo, no location. A child is only ever added by their own parent, and only that parent can see or change their record.

How we use it

To run the game and keep score.
To message you on Telegram when your child finishes a quest, and — if you leave them on — a weekly summary and occasional announcements. Turn announcements off any time by sending /stop to the bot.

We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share anything with third parties. There is no analytics or tracking beyond what the app needs to function. Data lives on a private server run by the app's owner, not a cloud data broker. Telegram, as the messaging platform, handles messages under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your data

You can delete any child from your dashboard, which removes their record and all their results immediately. To delete your whole account and everything under it, message the bot or the contact below and we'll remove it.

Children's privacy

This app is designed for children to use under a parent's account. We collect the minimum needed for a child to play (a first name, an emoji, a hashed PIN, and their scores) and nothing that could identify them outside the app. A parent is always in control of their children's records and can delete them at any time.
